What I noticed and Learned from doing a Juice Fast:

1. I tend to eat certain foods I don't need. I often eat them because I'm bored.
2. I didn't feel hungry, I just felt like eating, hahahaha.
3. I heard some protesting growls from my stomach, but I'm convinced it was just because it's used to getting everything it wants. What a diva!!!!
4. It's easier to stick to a fast when the decision is planned and motivated by intention.
5. The more regular detoxes I do, the deeper the cleansing.
6. Detox symptoms also vary widely: from fatigue, nausea, headaches, irritability, mood swings, etc. But these symptoms disappear within 3 days at most.
7. Using other therapies to aid the process is essential: enema, hydrotherapy, temazcal, Turkish bath/sauna, immersion baths with Epsom salts and apple cider vinegar, daily skin exfoliation, massage, etc.
8. Although I feel energized most of the time, it's best to rest, as energy should be used for detoxification.
9. The first two days I felt sluggish, but the following days were marked by a strange wave of stability, calm, peace, and gratitude.
10. I can do it! Even though it wasn't easy, I continued and completed the first part of the cleanse, and I feel proud of myself for having done it.
