You will end the day by being guided into a deep relaxation and then into a beautiful sitting and walking meditation.
In this workshop, we are going to explore a very ancient relaxation tecnique called Yoga Nidra (Yoga of Sleep), it is done lying down on your back and going into a physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Its a great preparation for meditation, so after you will be guided into a sitting and walking meditation.
It's hard not to feel Nature and its elements around us and being in the Serra da Arrábida is a great place to feel nature. The Earth that supports us, the Air that we breathe, the Fire that warms us, the Water that takes our thirst and the Space that exists between everything, inside and around us.
As we sit in Meditation we can actually observe and feel all these elements. We can finally honor them. We can finally realize our union with Nature, as these elements are not only outside of us, we are also this union of the elements.
This event gives us the opportunity to listen and feel the silence and movement of the elements and become more and more connected to the Universe. Just bring awareness, mindfulness.
Consciousness comes with knowledge and direct experience. When we become aware of the importance of these elements outside and within us, we begin to create a new relationship with Nature, the Universe and with ourselves.
You will need to bring:
- Comfortable clothing
- Yoga mat \ towel
- Small blanket to cover if cold
- Warm clothing to cover if cold
- Clothes to protect you from the rain
- A cushion for meditation (not essencial but very helpful)
