We will start the day by purifying our respiratory system using some ancient yogic techniques (pranayama), then you will be guided into a mindfulness meditation.
With pranayma, we aim to strengthen the connection between your body and mind. These tecnhiques can promote relaxation and mindfulness. It has been proven to support multiple aspects of physical health, including lung function, blood pressure, and brain function. Pranayama is a great way to prepare the body and mind for meditation.
The instructor will guided you into a very simple and effective medidation pratice. Studies to date suggest that mindfulness affects many aspects of our psychological well-being—improving our mood, increasing positive emotions, and decreasing our anxiety, emotional reactivity, and job burnout.
You will need to bring:
- Comfortable clothing
- Yoga mat \ towel
- Small blanket to cover if cold
- Warm clothing to cover if cold
- A cushion for meditation (not essencial but very helpful)
